It’s pretty obvious, these guys and gals are having too much fun after their class field trip at Theta Sound Studio. One of the things we do with young people is we get them to learn how to actively LISTEN. This then becomes a skill that can be cultivated toward greater awareness of sound and space. Another thing we do is have each of them speak on the mic while we alter the pitch of their voice in real time. The kids in the control room go bananas when they hear their classmate in the studio sounding like a chipmunk or Godzilla!
