Additionally, your donation entitles you to receive one CD from each artist! (see below for details)

Parking is free and you may partake in the awesome food and drink that’s available before the concert and during intermission!

Seating in the main room is limited to 23 guests. But there are a few seats available in the control room where you can watch, listen, and see Randall Michael Tobin work his magic at the mixing console.

June is a very special month as we have two concerts scheduled, both of which will blow you away! The first concert is this one on the 19th featuring two artists we’ve known and admired for quite some time, Brooke Ramel and Kevin Fisher. Both Brooke and Kevin are not only singers, musicians and songwriters par excellence individually, but they’ve also joined forces over the years resulting in various recorded collaborations. A quick read of their bios below will have you pressing the RSVP link asap! (read on…).

Brooke Ramel

BROOKE RAMEL

Brooke Ramel is one of the most successful independent artists of the last ten years. She has sold over 50,000 CDs, placed 50+ songs in TV/film, performed thousands of live shows and produced six original albums, her latest released in spring of 2011.

In addition to performing solo and headlining with her own band, Brooke has opened for many legendary artists and some of her greatest inspirations – Shawn Colvin, Marc Cohn, Raul Malo, Colin Hay, David Wilcox, Melissa Manchester, Lisa Loeb, Nancy Griffith, David Gates, Bill Medley and Deana Carter, to name a few. In 2006, Brooke sang background vocals for Ziggy Marley’s album, Love Is My Religion. That year, she was also a featured performer on an episode of the PBS series, Branson Jubilee, which aired nationwide.

Brooke’s career grew from the grassroots of the Midwest. After picking up the guitar at the age of seven, she was soon playing “gigs” at local churches and fairs. By age nine, she had already appeared on television and done a one-hour live radio show. A singer/songwriter had blossomed and never wavered from her musical path; from performing with high school theatre troupes and musical choirs to studying at Stanford University, to living in Paris and eventually landing in Los Angeles where she has made her living as a professional musician ever since.

Reemerging after a hiatus to be a wife and mother, Brooke teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producer and Windham Hill Records founder Will Ackerman and world class musicians to record her first album since 2004. Joining Brooke on the album are bassist Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, James Taylor, John Lennon), guitarist Jeff Pevar (Crosby Stills & Nash, Marc Cohn, Ray Charles), drummer Aaron Sterling (John Mayer), 3-time Grammy Award winning cellist Eugene Friesen, and The Webb Sisters on background vocals (Leonard Cohen, Sting).

Newly gained perspectives are reflected in Brooke’s strongest, most honest and acoustic recording to date.

“Brooke Ramel has the voice of an angel and the heart of a saint. Her songs are songs of love, care and kindness whether for people she has known, people she has thoughtfully observed or people who are powerless and voiceless in the world. The songs themselves are unflinchingly positive and heartfelt and filled with melodies so wonderfully accessible that they seem immediately familiar without being in any way imitative. This is a beautiful and meaningful recording that I’m proud to be a part of.” – Will Ackerman

Kevin Fisher

KEVIN FISHER

Kevin Fisher’s songs have been recorded by top artists in pop and country music, including Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Uncle Kracker, and most recently, Home Free, the 2013 winners of NBC’s The Sing Off. His songs have been on Gold and Platinum records, movies, TV shows and the stage. He received his degree in English Literature and Music Theory from Pomona College. Kevin then honed his craft while waiting tables until he got his first publishing deal with Hayes Street Music in Nashville, run by the legendary writer of The Gambler, Don Schlitz. In addition to writing, producing and performing, Kevin leads songwriting workshops at universities, music stores and private homes. He lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles, California.

It is worth mentioning that Kevin shared the bill with Harriet Schock at Theta Sound Studio’s inaugural Coffee House concert series in 1998. Always a consummate performer, Kevin is sure to leave a lasting impression in your heart.

Suggested donation options: Single Guest: $20 (includes concert and one CD from each artist); Couple: $30 (includes concert for two and one CD from each artist).
