We’ll Never Say Goodbye (Everlastingly)

“We’ll Never Say Goodbye (Everlastingly)” is a song that was originally written with the 2021 93rd Academy Awards “In Memoriam” segment in mind. Nancy Krasn Gumbiner brought me her amazing lyrics and I (Randall Michael Tobin) composed, arranged and produced the music. Nancy tried to get the song to the Academy Awards show producers for consideration but they already had other music attached to the piece. So on Memorial Day 2024, in the video editing room at my recording studio (Theta Sound), I decided to see how our song would work with that 2021 Academy Awards “In Memoriam” segment, and it turns out, surprisingly well.
