Randall Michael Tobin in conjunction with Concerts In Your Home presents Theta Sound Studio LIVE! — A chance to see amazing artists before they become the hottest ticket in town!
TSS Live! is your ticket to hearing top artists, many of them from outside of L.A., hand-picked by award-winning music producer Randall Michael Tobin just for this series. For a nominal donation (all of which goes to the artists), you get admission to Theta Sound Studio’s main room to experience two artists, each performing their own set in an intimate environment. Additionally, your donation entitles you to receive one CD from each artist! (see below for details)
Parking is free and refreshments will be served during intermission.
Seating in the main room is limited to 22 guests. But there are a few seats available in the control room where you can watch, listen, and see Randall Michael Tobin work his magic at the mixing console.

Real-life lovers & songwriters changing the world one song at a time…
The story of Flagship Romance represents more than just an opportunity to hear two individually talented performers using their abilities to create something bigger than themselves. It is an invitation to witness an actual couple with a shared passion and chemistry, doing what they love with whom they love, with a desire to change the world one song at a time.
Flagship Romance consists of real-life lovers, singers, and songwriters Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson. To describe their sound, they have coined the term “Harmonic Alternative Folk.” Anchored by Fisher’s unique guitar playing, Flagship Romance compositions are centered around and feature the couple’s unclassifiable vocal blend.
Since the release of their debut EP, The Fudge Sessions, in January of 2013, Flagship Romance has toured the US multiple times, making stops at legendary venues such as The Bitter End in New York City and multiple performances at the historical Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL. The variety of acts that this duo has shared the stage with is a tribute to the universal accessibility of their compositions and live show. These names include Iris Dement, Claire Lynch, the Goo Goo Dolls, Jack’s Mannequin, and Mason Jennings. Flagship Romance has also been a part of some of 2013’s biggest festivals including SXSW, Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road Stopover, and the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival.
In the midst of a mainstream culture, inundated by studio “perfection,” Fisher and Jackson plan on doing the exact opposite, referencing the old adage that honesty is the best policy. On the heels of a very successful crowd-funding campaign, which raised in excess of $25,000, Flagship Romance headed into the studio in January 2014 to record their first full-length album, entitled Fee Fie Foh Fum. The stripped tracks on this new album consist of full-takes, with no splicing or tuning. Given the intimate, yet energetic quality of their live performances, this new record is a raw, real, and organic experience. In addition to the album, Fisher and Jackson invited a team of professional cinematographers to travel with them and document the entire recording process. This behind the scenes documentary features the studio performances, the duo’s love-laced back-story, and the beautiful nature surrounding the home-studio. Fee Fie Foh Fum was released on physical formats (CD/DVD) in June 2014, and will be released digitally in conjunction with a radio campaign in January 2015.
Flagship Romance has aligned their musical career with the clean water cause via the organization charity: water. In August 2012, Fisher and Jackson founded and organized the Clean Water Music Fest in Florida, to raise funding and awareness for the 800 million people on this planet without access to safe, clean drinking water. Since then, these two troubadours have raised over $84,000; 100% of that money is currently being used for well building and tap-stand projects in Ethiopia, Rwanda, and the Sahel region of Africa.
In today’s music market, where more and more avid listeners are clamoring for something honest and real, Flagship Romance plans to take that honesty, chemistry, and “real-ness” to new heights.
Marc Bosserman’s parents tell us he started singing at age 3. Piano lessons began at age 8. He almost immediately started to perform as a pianist for school, church and various family functions.
In Junior High School Marc got valuable experience playing percussion in the concert band and piano in stage bands. Those school days also meant keyboards in rock and pop bands, and writing and performing songs, songs, songs.
He went on the road with a band at age 17 and the rest, we say, is magical and musical history.
Music to Marc is magic. It makes life beautiful and amazing and is just a joy to create. His personal philosophy is to bring as much beauty as he can to those around him and help others to make their lives more amazing with it.
Suggested donation options: Single Guest: $20 (includes concert and one CD from each artist); Couple: $30 (includes concert for two and one CD from each artist). You may also donate $10 (per guest) for the concert only and purchase CDs later for whatever the artists usually charge.
