For a nominal donation (all of which goes to the artists), you get admission to Theta Sound Studio’s main room to experience two artists, each performing their own set in an intimate environment. Additionally, your donation entitles you to receive one CD from each artist! (see below for details)

Parking is free and refreshments will be served during intermission.

Seating in the main room is limited to 22 guests. But there are a few spots available in the control room where you can watch, listen, and see Randall Michael Tobin work his magic at the mixing console.

Continuing our TSS LIVE! 2014 Series are two artists that promise to deliver a most memorable evening of music, songs and stories: Zarni and Liz Fohl (keep reading…).

Zarni at piano

John Mayer said “I just want to hear it again” about this 25-year-old singer / songwriter originally from South Africa, now residing in Seattle, Washington.

Zarni has shared the stage with Mary Lambert, Presidents of the United States of America, Nikolas Metaxas, Liz Longley, Jenn Grinels and many more.

As the recipient of the Scott Bensen Scholarship, the highest award given for Songwriting at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Zarni was an outstanding student, but is even more active now as a full-time musician out of college. With her feisty piano skills, memorable melodies and honest lyrics, Zarni has been showcased on WSKG TV, Newschannel34, The Nancy Guppy show, The Steve Katsos Show and been included in multiple newspaper reviews (The Press and Sun Bulletin, Montgomery News, Seattle Music Insider) and was named on of the Influential Faces of the Southern Tier when she was only 17.

Zarni is now Keyboardist/Background Singer in one of Seattle’s most popular bands, Campfire OK that just signed with Fugitive Records. She has had several song placements namely on SpikeTV and the Food Network. She has also been the winner of several songwriting competitions (Rockin’ Moms 2010 and Gauteng SW Competition in South Africa 2010) and honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition when she was only 11. Zarni has toured Nationally twice and plans on touring even more in 2014 with the release of her new album produced by Tyler Johnson (Young Liars, Joshua Hyslop and many more)

Liz Fohl sitting on floor

Born and raised in indiana, Liz Fohl started her musical career at a young age, gigging around the city and recording. At 18 she ventured out of her home state to pursue her musical passion at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Liz studied songwriting, music production, and music business, while innovating, developing, and tuning a foundation for a unique and creative musical career. She has toured internationally and all over the united states. After winning Berklee’s annual songwriting competition, Liz moved to Los Angeles where she plays up to seven gigs a week while writing scores for television, movies, and commercials.

With a brand new EP released in June, her music has already started to receive praise from critics around the country. One new york playwright hailed Liz’s new single “Should’ve Known Better” as Sophisticated, mature, knowledgeable, and melodic – elements that are supported by an emotionally connected voice.
