Elvis the Pelvis? In one of the most hilarious voice-over sessions on record, Redbone Media (John Trujillo and Bill Apablasa) filled the main room at Theta Sound Studio with a gaggle of voice actors, each imitating one or more famous celebrities posing as body parts (“Elvis” was “Pelvis”, etc.) for an interactive game show attraction at the COSI children’s museum in Columbus, Ohio. The innovative multimedia installation took top honors at the Themed Entertainment Awards (TEA) for the “Limited Budget” category (under $750,000) for which engineer Randy Tobin received his own statuette for Outstanding Achievement in Audio Recording/Editing.
